Non-dry technology + SiC Ceramic ball

Known for its reliability,
longseller Ceramic Roller Refill delivers exceptional performance every time

| Features of Ceramic Roller Refill

01. Non-dry mechanism

Patent no.5371571

Water-based ballpoint ballpen/refills need to replace the air inside when the ink runs out. If the air is not replaced, a vacuum will form, causing problems such as ink blowing out. Therefore, it is necessary to have a tiny hole for air exchange.
Conventional water-based ballpen/refills have a small hole in the front part for air exchange. So air comes into direct contact with the ink feeder or reservoir.
Consequently, if recap is not done after use, tip would dry out, and would not be able to write.
To solve this problem, OHTO have developed and patented non-dry mechanism that prevents air from direct contact to the ink feeder and reservoir.
C-300 Ceramic Roller Refill series are featured with this non-dry mechanism.

02. SiC Ceramic ball

| What makes writing of SiC Ceramic ball different from Tungsten Carbide(TC)ball?

1.Appropriately uneven surface

BALL possess unlimited craters on the surface.
Natural reservation of ink on these crators help to give ultra smooth writing contineously.

2.Stable chemical property

[ Rust free Ceramic Ball ]

■Chemical resistance
■Corrosion resistance
■Friction resistance
SiC Ceramic ball performs excellent storage stability because the ball does not rust.
Additionally, it is very strong against corrosion and friction

3.Diamond like hardness

SiC Ceramic ball is as hard as diamond.
The ball shape does not deform, thus perform
smooth rotation.
